Things That I'm Into: Home State Pride

Even when we are in the midwest, we like to represent, particularly when the ducks are playing in the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME.

Posted by Picasa

A sad game, but a good time. I'd still way rather be from Oregon then be from Alabama. Though the war eagle is pretty sweet.

Things That I'm Into: Fall Days

Apple picking + pumpkin picking + doughnuts + cider + pie + football + butternut squash soup.  As certain friends of mine would say, definitely a "cozure" (seizure of cozyness).

I can't really think of a better way to spend a sunday.

Things That I'm Into: Music + Skyline

Lollapalooza 2010 (Sunday): Mumford & Sons, Yeasayer, Frightened Rabbit, MGMT, The National, Arcade Fire

Hot, sweaty, too many people. But also so so fun. Arcade Fire was probably my best show of 2010 so far.

Things That I'm Into: Rootops; Sunrises (doubly whammy)

Sometimes staying up to see the sunrise on a roof deck after a night out isn't a bad way to end a weekend.

Trying not to make it a habit though.

Things That I'm Into: Family Pictures

This is what happens when you leave your camera on a table in a cabin filled with almost thirty-year-old dudes.

There were approximately twenty more of these pictures. The hat switch in the last one is a classy touch.

Things That I'm Into: Late Night Dining

Golden Nugget, 3:20 AM, napping before grilled cheese and blueberry pancakes arrive. Partied out.

Things That I'm Into: Succulent Wall

A block away from my BFF's house in San Francisco is this awesome succulent installation.  I walked by it when I was out there for her baby shower in March and thought it was one of the coolest things I've seen.
How awesome??
Now, two months later and post-due date, it is time for that baby to GET OUT of her comfortable womb and MEET HER MOM AND DAD!! (And her sort-of-aunt Lucy).  Why wouldn't she want to come out when she gets to see this sweet succulent wall only a block from her house?
